Wishing to rid the world of its overdependence on forks and increase the care and deliberateness in which one eats the Spoon Distribution Alliance will be handing out spoons on various street corners throughout the world. Our current focus is Los Angeles and will be part of the West to East and Back project to be included in the Navigational Accessories exhibtion at the Burapha Art Museum and Gallery in Thailand.
Spoons are ceramic, boxed, and numbered with instructions on how you can contribute to the project. Distribution begins in Los Angeles in April. Check back for days, times and locations.
An archive of tablespoons is currently in the works. If you would like to donate your collection please get in touch. All donations will be inventoried and used as molds for future spoon casting. Sorry, no dessert or ice tea spoons will be accepted at this time.
